The wakefield bakery has been in operation since 1908. It has been previously called Ormes, until the current owners Jenifer and John decided to change the name  to The Wakefield Bakery, in 1996 when they bought the bakery.  Today after 25 years of operation, they continue to follow the same recipes and processes of scratch baking.
